October 7, 2011: To spread awareness among the students regarding the precautions, remedies and treatment of the lethal Dengue virus, a campaign was launched at Walton Campus and two activity-filled weeks were allocated for this cause. It was also the topic for our Design for Change (DFC) Project.

Students of Junior Primary (I-III) conducted a presentation in which they displayed posters, colourful easels and gave useful information regarding the Dengue mosquito through a role play. School Group Head, Mrs. Naveen Shahid Butt and Manager Academics, Mrs. Ambreen Ishaque graced the event and praised the efforts of the students. A specially prepared song greatly entertained the audience.

Dr Nauman Khan, the Primary Health Care Consultant at the Conteth International Institute, paid a visit to the campus and conducted an interactive session with the students about the causes and precautions for Dengue.

Class VI students held a walk holding their banners and posters to show their concern about the devastation caused by Dengue and their determination to eradicate it.

Five teachers from the Campus attended a workshop related to Dengue Awareness at Allama Iqbal Medical College. As a follow-up to this workshop, sessions at assemblies were held at all levels where the teachers shared the knowledge they had gained with the students.
